Bigger Studios - More Studios!
The San Francisco Dance Center has moved to a new building, the Odd Fellows Building, at 7th and Market streets. Our new address is #26 - 7th Street, 5th Floor, and we are located above the Civic Center Bart Station. With six studios and three floors, the new space is centrally located and convenient to major BART and MUNI lines at Civic Center. The new studios will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and special flooring for flamenco. We are very excited about our new home and hope you will join us for a New Year filled with great dancing!!

Classes will be accompanied by The Flamenco Academy's musical director, Jorge Liceaga. An accomplished guitarist, composer and singer. Class choreographies will be mounted to cante.Tuesdays:
6-7pm - New Beginner ... Technique
The beginning level classes will have exercises in brazeo [arm movements], taconeo [footwork patterns], marcaje [marking patterns], palmas [hand-clapping], vueltas [turns] and short choreographies [actual dances]. This class is geared toward the "new beginner".7-8pm - Beginning I-II ... Tech. & Choreography
A progressive level for the students who wish to advance their studies. This class includes all of the basic elements in flamenco from the "New Beginner" class, with more footwork patterns, turns and choreography. Sevillanas are taught in this class.Wednesdays:

7-8pm - Intermediate/Adv ... Choreography
These classes are geared towards the students interested in more performing experience. Technique and choreography is the focus. Performance repertoire will be taught. Prior flamenco training is required.Saturdays:
